New Initiative for The Nurture Project
As more and more people recognise the therapeutic and restorative benefits of being in nature The Nurture Project is planning to broaden its range of activities to cater for a wider audience.
This Spring we will be launching a series of nature-based Wellbeing Workshops based in and around the tranquil woods at Kettlestone House. For our pilot workshop on April 27th we will be introducing two experienced wellbeing practitioners, Alex Egan and Gini Harrison. The day will consist of meditation, qigong, breathwork and art based mindful exercises.
The Nurture Project is primarily aimed at providing support for people living with mental ill health, and we are committed to making it an inclusive service that is readily available to those people who might not ordinarily be able to afford access to it. We hope to develop the Wellbeing Workshop model in a way that allows a proportion of the proceeds to be used to fund individual places on The Nurture Project.
